Restore Lives
New Workforce Program Minimize

The New Workforce Program (NWP) offers assistance with resume and cover letter writing, interactive training for job interviews (such as mock interviews), and educational services. LINC has found that stable employment is one of the biggest in successful reentry, and makes a person feel like an active and valued member of the community. This also helps the community as a whole, increasing employment rates.

Housing
Currently ME Roberts I is structured to house ten men returning from incarceration.  The program is six months long, with the ultimate goal of securing independent housing. LINC proudly announces the addition of a new 40 bed facility which will be available in the spring of 2012. The M.E. Roberts II facility will house 20 men and 20 women in a totally renovated and modern building that used to be the New Hanover County jail! More information ahead!

Transportation
LINC provides transportation for current residents who do not have access or the financial means to get from place to place. We offer bus tickets for our clients, and have a van for transporting people when needed. We guarantee the companies who employ our clients that they will have a reliable way to get to and from work everyday, and ensure our clients that if they do not have the means we well help them to get to their appointments with social services, corrective services, and other locations in the Wilmington area that help people advance their situation.
